Sarah Drawwater: Mum, Wife, Doula Antenatal Teacher and Photographer…
So who am I?
I live in the central Cambridgeshire town of Ramsey, I am Mum to two children and wife to one hardworking supportive husband. I am a tea drinking chocolate addict, I love to try new things with my hair and am a happy introvert.
A little more about my story...
My journey to becoming a Doula has been a true evolution that has taken me through so many experiences, at the time I didn’t truly know where this was leading me to, but now I am here as a birth and postnatal Doula I feel that I am in the most positive of places to support the families I have the privilege of working with. In my search for my 'true calling', after having my boys, I began my photography business. I’m not what you may expect from a family photographer though - I shoot what it feels like, not what it looks like. I don’t photograph forced memories of coat-hanger-smiles in fancy clothes, my photos help families to remember the tiny moments, their story. For several years now my pathway has naturally led me into birth photography and now having trained as a Doula in 2019 to a new world of Doulaing where I have found my people, my ‘true calling’…
If you’re looking for a doula to tell you what to do I won’t be the one for you. My aim is to make sure that you have access to all of the options and to help you feel your way through them and work out where your preferences lie.
I welcome a chat with anyone out there about how we can work together to best support you and your family.
If you think I may have the right stuff to offer you and your family please do get in touch and we'll chat some more, usually by video call as a starting place...
My experience and ongoing training/development…
